Baraka is a seasoned professional vocalist in LA. From major motion pictures to live theatrical productions to commercials and demos, Baraka has sung it all. An exceptionally versatile singer, Baraka is well-equipped to lay down silky smooth background harmonies only to turn around and fiercely belt out the blues… much like a trained figure skater who also rocks at rollerblading on the street!

Baraka’s credits include DreamWorks film, “Real Steel”, Cirque Du Soliel’s show, “IRIS”, Disney film, “John Carter”, The Oprah Winfrey Show, JC Penny, Microsoft, CoverGirl, Old Navy, Dr. Pepper, KEARTH 101.1 FM Radio, CBS Channel 2, and KCAL Channel 9. Her live performances have been featured at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Edison Field, Disney Grand Californian Hotel, and more.

Baraka is also a gifted songwriter, with an eclectic style, combining influences of jazz, pop, rock, and gospel.
